WHAT WE DO

we make theatre that works

James Steel Productions builds and manages theatre that runs beautifully. We work with producers, creatives, and companies across the UK, West End, and international markets, regularly partnering with US and Korean producers as their UK producing and general management team.

Our role is to bring structure, strategy, and commercial clarity while they retain creative and producing control. Alongside that, we originate and produce our own shows.

We provide complete production management across budgeting, contracting, licensing, and marketing strategy, ensuring every project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Our work blends creative leadership with commercial discipline, delivering transparency, calm, and consistency from first idea to final bow.
